Wow. It is turning to beautiful Fall weather here. A few of the leaves are starting to change colors, the nights are getting cooler (I can sleep with the windows open and need a blanket), and it is back to school time!! I bet you are all back to school enjoying your new students and hopefully using any and all of the new skills and knowledge you gained this summer. It is hard to believe that you were here just a short month ago.
Since you have left, I have taken KC up to college. Some of you may recognize the Mackinaw Bridge he had to drive over to get to the Upper Peninsula. He lives in the dorms and has been to two weeks of classes. He says all is good and he is not too challenged yet. I am so proud of him. He is missing 'regular' food and is not excited about the food in the dorms any longer.
Jack also started school. He had his first day right after the Labor Day holiday. He got on the bus and was off to Kindergarten. I am so proud of him too. I can't believe how fast time flies!!
I have been busy at work. My office has gone thru some radical changes in staff. We went from a staff of 4 full time and 2 part time down to just me. Luckily, I was then able to hire 2 part time, but other changes will not happen for another year!! It will be a crazy interesting time. I am also teaching the course at Lawrence Tech -- it is very different without all of you!! I teach for Boise State and do some consulting in my spare time (please laugh here at the thought of 'spare time'). I hope the school year has been a good start for you and hope you are able to integrate technology and use all the skills you learned!
More later,
Miss you,
Stacey
Hi Stacey
ReplyDeleteI am keeping to do my thesis.
Sometimes I will have some problems with my classroom . I can not use technological equipment to teach students.
But I am still trying to discuss with Veronica,I can learn a lot from this situation.
Bless your family will be happy in everything.
